Thistle 1049 - Taking form....

Although this winter has been quite busy for the gang at Quantum Toledo, one team member has been hard at work getting the Wood Thistle Project closer to completion.

The first boat to go through "The King's" shrine is 1049. It is a D&M Kit boat from years ago and has changed hands many times since its glory days in the early 80s when it was a staple at the front of the fleet. Still solid and still fair, 1049 is going through the transformation of upgraded rails, grates, thwarts & CB Cap. When done, it will look very nice and will sport a new paint job, rigging and overall look.

1049 has a sister in this trasformation proceedure. Thistle 1234 will be following 1049 within the coming weeks to get similar upgrades and enhancements.
